Barbara Sinatra Children's Center update .... April 19, 2010

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month throughout the country. We are grateful for the support shown Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center programs, events and activities, now and throughout the year. The Children’s Center, founded by Barbara and Frank Sinatra in 1986, provides counseling for victims of physical, sexual and emotional child abuse. All children in need are welcome, regardless of a family’s inability to pay.

WE WISH FOR:

Providing shelter and food are on-going concerns for many Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center families. More than 80% of children we counsel are from households with incomes below the Federal poverty line of approximately $14,000 per year. Unwrapped donations for boys and girls through age 18 in all sizes, may be brought to the Children’s Center. Do- nations by check or credit card by mail, telephone at 760-773-1636 or on line at sinatracenter.org help underwrite counseling and services. We are grateful for your assistance.
